Jeff is responsible for leading Eagle Rock’s community and leadership team. In this role, he regularly interfaces with our board of directors and is responsible for overseeing the vision and financial health of our organization.
A product of public schooling, Jeff has been working with adolescents as they find their way in life for the past three decades, first as a YMCA camp trip leader in the hills of western Pennsylvania, and for seven years (2005-2012) as Eagle Rock’s director of curriculum, where he was responsible for all aspects of our school’s academic programs.
Along the way, Jeff has held key staff and management positions, including program coordinator for Wolfcreek Wilderness School; instructor at Slippery Rock University; program director for Indiana University’s Outdoor Center — Bradford Woods; accreditation director for the Association for Experiential Education (AEE); executive director for the Wilderness Education Association (WEA); and, director of operations for Wilderness Inquiry.
Jeff earned his undergraduate degree at Slippery Rock University (PA) and his Master’s Degree at the State University of New York, Cortland. He and his wife Nannette live on campus and have two sons who are in college.
