Chelsea Ehret

2019/2020 Public Allies Teaching Fellow in Science & Math

Chelsea is the Public Allies Teaching Fellow in Science and Math for the 2019-2020 year. Chelsea shares the responsibility of teaching science classes and developing curriculum and is using the experience to become a better teacher for all students. Chelsea has experience working with youth of all ages ranging from children to adolescents and has a passion for watching them grow through education and learning experiences. She has worked as a university-level chemistry tutor at Missouri University of Science and Technology where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences. She was a Wilderness Educator for Baxter State Park in northern Maine where she shared her passion for the outdoors with park visitors of all ages. She recently earned her Master’s Degree at the Technical University of Munich in Germany where she was also a volunteer for Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Program, in which youth earn awards through various service projects and outdoor expeditions. Chelsea enjoys staying active in the outdoors by running long distances on the beautiful trails of Colorado and snowshoeing in the winter.
