CSR Initiative of American Honda Continues Education Renewal Work Through STP Conference

The Professional Development Center at Eagle Rock will continue education renewal work in collaboration with Big Picture Learning as they facilitate a Service Thesis Project (STP) Conference at Burlington College in Vermont on May 23, 2014.

Eagle Rock has been working with Big Picture Learning in a variety of capacities since 2006. For several years we have helped some New England schools develop conferences and they have become an engine of self renewal for students and staff.

In late May, students and staff will engage in a workday designed to construct a vision of success by building off of the positive attributes of each individual while exploring the Business Model Canvas. Participants will be given the opportunity to present dilemmas in small group settings, allowing for constructive dialogue and real-time problem solving. Each individual will walk away from the conference with an action-step to implement, and, in the words of one Big Picture student, a “renewed sense of passion” for their Service Thesis Project.
