The Estes Park Lions Club held it’s annual Speech Contest for high school students in the Estes Valley. This year Caoline Miller from Estes Park High School and Joshua Timberlake from Eagle Rock School competed.
The theme of the speeches were “My pasion and how will that passion contribute to the changing world.” Both students presented excellent speeches making a winning selection very difficult for the judges. After much deliberation Joshua Timberlake was awarded first place for his speech about his passion for music.
Joshua will compete in the Lions Club District Speech Contese with the chance to compete in the Colorado Lions Club Speech Contest.
