Omar Arteaga

2016/2017 Public Allies Teaching Fellow in Residential Life

Outdoor recreational activities and working close with youth have been a big part of Omar Arteaga’s life. His passion for people followed him to Colby-Sawyer College in N.H where he obtained his bachelors degree in society. Throughout college he was part of groups and programs that were centered around giving back to underprivileged youth. Since graduation he is continuing his path of giving back to youth through residential life activities that will help them develop skills in working within a team. Through his fellowship position, he hopes to encourage healthy indoor and outdoor activities that will enrich students journey at Eagle Rock.
