Doen Lee is the Professional Development Fellow in the Professional Development Center. She supports the PDC in its national mission of reengaging students by assisting with initiatives that foster each student’s unique potential and help young people use their minds
well. Another part of her role includes traveling with the PDC team to partners around the country and hosting visiting educators locally. Prior to this experience, she worked in an Upward Bound program as an advisor, serving students from first-generation and low-income families. She also has experience working with community/nonprofit organizations such as Kids Forward, Wisdom Culture and Education Organization, Centro Hispano, and United Way of Dane County. She is passionate about community-based learning, experiential learning, student development, and educational equity.
