Becky Poore

Math Instructional Specialist

Becky grew up in Washington, D.C., where she attended public school through 8th grade. She moved out to Colorado in 2004 to attend Colorado College, and has never looked back. Becky has always wanted to work in education. She started her outdoor education career at Deer Hills Expeditions, an outdoor adventure camp in the Southwest during college. Then she taught biology and math in Uganda with the Peace Corps for two years. Returning to the United States, she went back to school to become a better educator. Becky has been teaching math at Eagle Rock since September 2015. She earned her master’s degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
